TYLER COX

Written by Ricky Carroll

Hatcham has been impressive this season, pushing SE Dons to the wire in the OBDSFL title race. One of Hatcham's star men this season has been their wing wizard Tyler Cox! Tyler has been vital to Hatcham this season - with his pace and direct running causing full-backs problems every week. He is brilliant at isolating defenders and skinning them. Tyler can take on full-backs on the outside or run infield with the ball - making him a nightmare to mark. He can stay wide and give his teammates a great outlet when transitioning - but he can also drift infield to play 1,2s with his teammates. His ability to be equally effective drifting infield or staying out wide makes him a problem for the opposition. Tyler is difficult to contain. If you try to close him quickly, he has the capabilities to take one touch and leave you standing before sprinting away with the ball. If Tyler picks up the ball and runs at you, his balance and close control make it hard for a defender to know which way he will go with the ball. He's an explosive player, making him a nightmare for any opposition. Tyler's reputation is growing fast. After a productive season, he's attracting a lot of interest in Saturday football - and rightly so. He has proven he has the end product to go with his silky skills, scoring six goals and four assists in 19 games for Hatcham this season in the OBDSFL. He also showed his capabilities at Lingfield in the Southern Combination Football League, terrorising defenders with his silky skills and direct running! It's been an impressive season for Tyler, but it feels like just the beginning for this young wing wizard!
