What a journey it's been for young Ollie Tanner. He's been lighting up the Isthmian Premier Division. It's now time for this young baller to light up the Championship for Cardiff City!

When Ollie picks up the ball, be prepared to watch a magician at work! His wand of a left foot has cast a spell throughout the Isthmian League this season. His ability at set-pieces is exceptional! Ollie has scored some sensational goals this season. Many players would have taken a touch on most of these, but he has superb balance and technique, which has seen him score some sensational goals from the edge of the box and beyond!

He has a bit of Ryan Giggs about him when he drops a shoulder and waltzes past opponents. He's a joy to watch! Ollie is a nightmare for any fullback to mark. He's quick, direct, and has skill in abundance. Flairy wingers sometimes lack that clinical decision making in the final third. Ollie is not one of those players, with his goals and assists this season, he has proven how clinical he is. He will be a problem at any level because he's direct, has impressive balance, and can skin a full back on the outside or inside with his pace and trickery.

He has attracted a massive amount of interest, and Spurs soon came calling for this wing wizard! They agreed on a deal to sign Ollie. However, he decided to back out during the negotiation of personal terms. Tanner received widespread praise for rejecting the move and staying with Lewes, where he continued to dazzle with his silky skills! Lewes promised to take care of their star player until the right deal came along for their young starlet, and Ollie and Lewes didn't have to wait long.

Cardiff City has recently completed the signing of Ollie Tanner for a fee believed to be £40,000. Cardiff manager Steve Morrison has already shown a willingness to trust younger players, and Ollie will go straight into competing for a place in the 1st team squad.

Cardiff manager Steve Morrison was clearly pleased when asked about the signing of Ollie Tanner. "When his move fell through with Tottenham, we were all over it. We monitored him for the rest of the season, and he did really well."

Ollie Tanner has enjoyed an excellent season for Lewes and has the capabilities and potential to succeed in the Championship next season and beyond! Non-league to the Championship for this young star shows a setback doesn't have to be the end! Ollie Tanner's story definitely has a few exciting chapters to come!
